Maurice's Baptism

Today we celebrate the life-changing experience of baptism with Maurice!

He determined last night that it was time to say goodbye to the "old Maurice" and walk into a new life with Christ as a new man.

The Bible says, "old things are passed away and all things become new."

Cherish has attended Heavenview for a little over two years.

The Heavenview family celebrates the incredible life changing experience of baptism with her.

When we asked Cherish what led her to being baptized, she said, "I want to make a change in my life and I want to live Holy."
Chris has attended Heavenview for close to four weeks.

The Heavenview family celebrates the incredible life changing experience of baptism with him.

When we asked Chris what led him to being baptized, he said, "I felt that I needed to be closer to God. I feel so much better now that I have washed away all of my sin; it makes me a happier person spiritually and mentally. I'm glad that I know God and that I know He created me."

We celebrate with Tameka who made the life-changing decision to be baptized on Sunday.

When asked what led her to her baptism experience, Tameka said she had been looking for a home church for a while, and Heavenview felt like home to her.

Tamika's friend, Darlene, a member of Heavenview, has been there for her and has really been a godly example to her in the past few months.

A special thanks goes to Darlene for sharing God's love with a friend.
